2nd Annual Festival of TreesCONWAY NH – The Festival of Trees, a signature holiday event for the whole family to enjoy. Salyards Center for the Arts in Conway Village, New Hampshire will be transformed into a vibrant and magical wonderland of Christmas elegance. Young and old, alike, will delight in the displays of beautifully decorated and lighted Christmas trees, each one unique and all available for a chance to win and take home to decorate their own home this holiday season.

This year proceeds from the Festival of Trees will benefit Carroll County RSVP whose mission is to enhance our communities by engaging volunteers, age 55 and over, matching their experience, talent and interests to meaningful services within our communities.

Pumpkin Patch ExpressNORTH CONWAY NH – All departures are from the North Conway Station for a leisurely round trip train ride aboard vintage coaches to the White Mountain Cider Company in Glen, where each child can visit the “Pumpkin Patch” and select their own pumpkin. Departures that travel directly to the Pumpkin Patch depart at 1:30, Friday-Sunday, with an extra 3:00 departure on Saturday only.  The 11:30 Bartlett Valley Train also stops at the Pumpkin Patch on its return to North Conway.  Adults and children alike are encouraged to get into the spirit by traveling in their Halloween costumes.

NORTH CONWAY NH – Mark your calendars!  The Conway Area Humane Society’s 18th Annual Walk for the Animals and Bark in the Park is Saturday, September 26 in Schouler Park!

2015 Walk for the Animals and Bark in the Park Pet Expo Come join jus for a fun-filled family day for dogs and people who love them while raising funds for homeless animals.  You can raise money as team member or individually with a dog or in honor or memory of a dog.

To participate, just go to www.conwayshelter.org and set up your personal Firstgiving page.  Then spread the word by sending the link to all your friends near and far to support you.  Or, you can also register by picking up a brochure for the event at many local businesses including Four Your Paws Only and at the Conway Area Humane Society, or give us a call at (603) 447-5605 and we will mail you one.

There will be prizes for the top fundraisers.  All registered walkers will receive a specially designed t-shirt and other great items. Registration will take place on Friday, September 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Four Your Paws Only and on the morning of the Walk for the Animals, Saturday, September 26 in Schouler Park in North Conway beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The Walk begins with a Blessing of the Animals and participants will set out for Whitaker Woods at 10:00 a.m.  An awards ceremony will follow the walk and then the Pet Expo begins with vendors, demonstrations, contests and a dog show.
