JACKSON NH – Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The entire Jackson Community invites you to come and see the first lighting of our all new and glimmering Christmas Holiday Tree. Jackson Christmas Tree Lighting CeremonyVillage boasts one of the most beautiful evergreen trees you will see and this year the tree was very much a focal point of our Jackson Village Christmas Holiday/Winter Beautification Project. The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce along with a committee of local businesses, residents and the Selectmen set out to enhance all the village winter decorations… and we want to show it off to you. You are personally invited to attend…

The gathering for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday evening November 25th, at 4:00 PM. The first 20 people to arrive will receive a candy cane and their choice of a Christmas Holiday hat. The Da Capo Singers will delight us with Christmas Caroling. Santa will do the honors of lighting the tree at exactly 4:30 PM.

Immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony Christmas Farm Inn & Spa has invited everyone back to their “Open House”; celebrate the beginning of the festive season with your friends and neighbors by the roaring fire in the historic Barn. Enjoy hot chocolate and home-made cookies by the Christmas Tree. Santa will be making an appearance.

Covered Bridge Dance in Jackson, NH - August 4thJACKSON NH – Dance the night away under the stars and the Jackson Covered Bridge on Saturday August 05, 2017 starting at 7:30 PM. Featuring… Jon Sarty and the White Mountain Boys. As with all talented musicians they will have their own following as well as everyone who has been to the Covered Bridge Dance in the past, therefore we recommend you come early and pick your spot. There are a number of tables and chairs provided but they go fast. Bring your own chairs, blankets, friends, family and, of course Dancing Shoes. The Jackson Community comes together for this Old Fashioned block party once a year and you are invited.

It isn’t often you see any of New Hampshire’s Covered Bridges closed to vehicles… but on this very special night the Jackson Covered Bridge will be closed from 5 PM until midnight for this great event. You know an event is worth the trip when it stops traffic… signs will be posted and our very own Jackson Police crew will be on hand to redirect traffic as needed. If you are visiting a local business located in the loop merely continue north on route 16 and take the first right after the Covered Bridge to get into Jackson Village. Please note… all Jackson Village businesses normally opened at night will most certainly remain opened during this event. So please… mark your calendars and join us for a night of Dancing under the Stars and the Jackson Covered Bridge.

Parking for this event will be marked. The entrance fee to the Covered Bridge Dance is FREE thanks to our major sponsors: Whitney’s Inn at Jackson, Inn at Jackson, Flossie’s General Store, Homer’s Appliance and the Inn at Ellis River. Donations are always welcome.

Be sure to come hungry and enjoy a wonderfully delicious menu prepared by Apple Buns!

As this event is weather dependent please check back for a rain date.
