BROWNFIELD ME – Join us at the beautiful Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, Maine for our annual gala, Tuxes and Tails. Tuxes and Tails is our premier fundraiser, and an evening to celebrate the mission of our Shelter, and all of those who lend their support. Beginning with a social hour, with appetizers, beer and wine, and moving on to a wonderful Stone Mountain feast for dinner, the evening will highlight the important work of CAHS. Following dinner, a fun live auction featuring a chance to bid on a VIP Broadway experience at Hamilton the Musical, along with other equally exciting items. Tickets are limited. It is called Tuxes to Tails but please come dressed as you would like.
JACKSON NH – A special concert to benefit the MacKenzie Lewis White Scholarship for post secondary studies in music. The concert features a score of Valley musicians who perform through the evening. The Shannon Door Pub & Restaurant has once again offered their lovely porch for the event, where dinner will be served before and during the concert. Reserve your seat for $20.
Show starts at 6pm. Seating is limited on the porch and is likely to sell out.

WHITAKER WOODS, NORTH CONWAY NH – Our Walk for the Animals will take place at Whitaker Woods on September 21. There will be pet-centered vendors, food trucks, and fun contests to enjoy. Beginning with the blessing of the animals, we will then enjoy a self-paced walk through beautiful Whitaker Woods. Upon returning to the Whitaker Field, guests will be able to take part in games, agility tests, K9 demonstrations, and much more.
Register a team, or walk individually, there is a $30 registration fee, which we waive if you collect over $100 in donations. Each registration also includes a free T-shirt. Registration begins at 9:00, and the Walk begins at 10:00.
BARTLETT NH – Grand Prix style tricycle racing on a downhill course. Four racers at a time compete for the best 4 person team and individual time.
Registration is from 11am-noon. Racing starts at noon. This is a great spectator sport, too. Attitiash has their beer garden open and food available.
Tricycles are provided. Helmets are required and racers must be at least 21.
$25 per individual racers and $80 for a 4 person team. All proceeds benefit the Dewey Mark/Red Parka Scholarship.
Bear Peak at Attitash Mountain Resort
NORTH CONWAY NH – ‘Mud Bowl 2019 “Mudeo Games” is the theme for this year’s Championship of Mud Football sponsored by Miller Lite/Amoskeag Beverages.
The event will be held September 6, 7, & 8 at Hog Coliseum located at the North Conway Community Center. This is a touch football tournament played in mud. Money raised will be donated to the North Conway Community Center, Vaughan Learning Center, Carroll County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, as well as, other non-profits in the Mt Washington Valley.

GLEN NH – Join us September 2nd for a fun-filled morning and race your way around Story Land! There will be appearances from some of the Story Land Characters as well as a few other special guests!
All funds raised from the Fun Run will go directly towards Believe in Books Literacy Foundation’s Bookmobile!
