Parking

Parking options are limited and we urge all visitors and locals alike to note the NO Parking notices and refrain from blocking open businesses and or emergency exits.  Parking is available in the old tennis courts which can be found by taking the driveway immediately after Dinsmore Road on your right if coming over the Jackson Covered Bridge.  Please be advised that many of our Jackson Businesses are open for business and Village parking will be very limited.

The Snowflake Inn welcomes visitors and locals to sit on their southside lawn area.  Please always carry out that which you carry in.  We appreciate your willingness to help keep our Village GREEN and Pristine. Thank you for protecting our beauty.

If we have learned anything over the last few years it is that health restrictions and unknown challenges can be found at every turn.  Please be aware of the current situations at hand and follow any guidelines for the times.  Should there be any kind of mandates during our events we will be sure and post them.

White Mountain Oil's 39th Bratwurst Broil and Open House
NORTH CONWAY NH – White Mountain Oil & Propane is well known for our famous “Open House and Bratwurst Broil” held every June at our North Main Street, North Conway store. We had held various open houses and cookouts over the history of the company but have produced the “Bratwurst Broil” for 38 consecutive years on a Friday in June.

Our planned events for 2020, 2021 and 2022 were all postponed for various reasons including Covid-19. However, we are planning on holding this event on June 9th, 2023.

We are hoping to experience (our usual) very little rain that day. Ordinarily our open House is from 10:00-4:00 with the grills  going from 11:00-2:00 pm only. There are usually door prizes and other giveaways!

Before the Bratwurst Broil, White Mountain Oil hosted many other events. Below, members of the community are shown enjoying an early open-house at our Main Street-North Conway showroom, which included a cake baking contest.

Dar Williams

BROWNFIELD, ME – Singer, songwriter, author, activist, folk legend Known as much for her staunch progressive ideals as her raw acoustic energy, for decades Dar Williams has been captivating audiences with her sheer elegance and honesty in her folk-pop songwriting.

Critics say,“Dar Williams, one of America’s very best singer-songwriters… Her songs are beautiful. Some are like finely crafted short stories. They are, variously, devastatingly moving, tenderly funny, subtle without being in any way inaccessible, and utterly fresh—not a cliche or a clunker in her entire songbook. –The New Yorker

“Seasons change, but Williams remains both ambitious and pleasingly plain-spoken… And importantly, she seems more at ease than ever. — Rolling Stone
